A Misted Mirror

A Misted Mirror is fiction based on fact, the fact being the life of my late husband, a poet whose career was as a language expert with the British Council. His work took him to many parts of the world and it was in Teheran in the years leading up to the Islamic Revolution that we met. The book describes our exciting lives and the heart-breaking contrast after he developed Parkinson's disease and later dementia. The book features his poetry and is an exhilarating and heartfelt tribute. It portrays an attempt to square the circle of life, love, loss and what it all adds up to. First published by Proverse, Hong Kong in 2011.
